Elin Aulin says: “Storms moved in and the competitions were paused for three days. After the storm, high seas and waves of up to 3-4 meters remained and it was difficult to get buoys in place for the Technical race. After 4-5 hours behind schedule, the ladies finally started. Michelle went out and showed courage and strength in the almost impossible conditions. Tumbled and centrifuged, she still came up like a washed herring, happy that she got around the track in a reasonable time, and many experiences richer.”
