Welcome Lars Kjaer Olsen, new Managing Director at First Cargo Sweden

This week, we welcome our new Managing Director at First Cargo / BHS Logistics Sweden.

It is with immense pleasure that we can announce that Lars Kjær Olsen has started as Managing Director for First Cargo / BHS Logistics in Sweden.
Lars comes with extensive experience within both the national and international transport business. Having worked in international companies and positions, Lars will be leading the team and the complete business in Sweden, maintaining, and further developing the high quality, service, and professionalism that both First Cargo and BHS Logistics are renowned for.

We are excited to continue the development of our Swedish business with Lars onboard.

This also means that it was the last day that Thomas Lindström was Managing Director of First Cargo. But we are lucky that Thomas will continue with us in another role, where Thomas’ invaluable insight into the company, customers, and the industry in general will still make a big difference to BHS Logistics.

We send a big thank you to Thomas for his time as Managing Director with us and he has really lived up to our motto: We take it personally!

Who are you, Lars?

I am a passionate forwarder and manager. Driven by results and a staff that is happy and motivated.

What made you decide on First Cargo?

I chose First Cargo because it is a small organization, a company with good quality and good and competent staff.

What will be your biggest challenge in the new job?

First Cargo will grow and include several countries on the palette. There are a thousand options for First Cargo!

Do you have a “superpower”?

I’m always in a good mood and when the time comes I always have an extra gear I trust my staff and am happy to go the extra mile for them.

What do you prefer to listen to?

My son playing the guitar while we have family fun!

What do you prefer to do when you have time off (if you will now have time to have time off :-O)?

I love everything to do with food and relax with cooking.
