Update on the situation in France – the protests are spreading across boarders

Update Feb 1st – Belgium and France:

Farmers are now blocking Gent, Brussels, Antwerp, and the borders as well.
Currently, the ports remains blocked, and today’s conditions appear to be even more challenging.

No trucks are allowed in or out, and all vehicles are parked on the side of the road. Unfortunately, we are currently unable to drive or drop/pick up any trailers.

Update Feb 1st – Zeebrugge:

The farmers have decided to extend their actions including the blockage of the Port of Zeebrugge and have intensified their blocking of access roads. It is still uncertain how the situation will develop.
You will appreciate that the blockades are causing major disruption in Zeebrugge, but also in connecting ports, mainly in UK. Even when the blockades are lifted and we can resume operations, we anticipate continued disruption due to the congestion and cargo backlog in the port.

But from 8:30 a.m. Monday, the south-north diversion will pass through exit 52, then Noailles via the D158 and the D38 towards Brive, then the D921 to bypass Malemort then Brive and reach the Saint-Antoine-les-roundabout. Plantades before returning to the highway at entrance 47 via the D920 in Donzenac.

A89 closed between interchanges 24 of Ussel-Est and 22 of Égletons, from 9:30 a.m. The diversions will go via the D1089.

Pierre-Bénite” and the junction with the A7 from Monday January 29, 2024 at 6:00 a.m. and for a

indefinite period.

The M6 motorway between junction no. 34 and the junction with the A89 is reopened to traffic from

decision of the authorities.

The following roads remain closed to all vehicles in both directions of traffic from Friday

January 26, 2024 5 p.m. and for an indefinite period:

– A42: between the A42/N346/A46N motorway junction and the ring road

The following straps are also closed:

– A46N: Closure of the A4 ramp

Please be informed that there will be a farmers protest action taking place in Port of Zeebrugge from Tuesday afternoon, 30/01/24, until Thursday evening, 01/02/24.
This may result in disruptions in the ports, with potential roadblocks affecting access to terminals in Zeebrugge. The exact impact on terminal and vessel operations is currently unclear.

Farmers might also blocking roads, industrial zones & logistic warehouses all over Belgium.
